How to Dance a Merengue Fitness Routine

Published on Jul 11, 2019 36 views

Merengue is one of the easiest dances in the world. The main reason is because you only need to do 2 steps. Left or right. You will see this through out the How to Dance a Merengue Fitness Routine video. What I have done is added weights to make the merengue a bit more challenging. However, you can dance this dance fitness routine without weights if you'd like.

Merengue's origin start in the little Caribbean island known as Dominican Republic. Merengue which is the national dance of D.R. and started in the late 1800's. It also wasn't danced like we do today in partner, rather they danced it in a group circle.

If you are want to learn Merengue I would suggest to either go to a group class or private class, however don't spend too much time on it, because there is not that much to learn as it is one of the easiest dances out there today.
